Holland Dance Festival believes in ‘Dance for everyone’. Whether it’s the choreographers behind the scenes, the dancers on stage, or the audience in the stands. We strive to be as accessible as possible to everyone. If you have any questions or requests during your visit, you can always contact one of our employees.
Every person is unique in his or her wishes and needs. Do you doubt the accessibility of one of our theatres? If so, we invite you to contact the festival box office at email@example.com or by telephone at (070) 363 75 40.
The Korzo theatre is wheelchair accessible. A limited number of wheelchair spaces are available in the halls and studios and a wheelchair toilet is available. Guide dogs are also welcome in the theatre. There is always staff present to answer questions and to assist people where necessary. Other forms of accessibility are always possible in consultation.
Zuiderstrandtheater is wheelchair accessible on reservation.
Guide dogs are welcome. Zuiderstrandtheater asked to let them know beforehand, so they can adjust their personnel accordingly.
There is a stop for HTM bus 22 (The Hague CS to/from Duindorp) just a few steps from the entrance to the Zuiderstrandtheater. The bus can be identified by the words ‘via Zuiderstrandtheater’. Please visit www.htm.nl for the current timetable.
Free shuttle service before and after performances
Electrice transportation devices offer a free shuttle service to and from the Zuiderstrandtheater before and after performances. You can board in front of the BP petrol station on Statenlaan, near the Statenlaan tram stop (tram 11) and the Van Boetzelaerlaan Noord stop (tram 17). The shuttle will bring you straight to the theatre entrance within 10 minutes. The service starts one hour before performances begin and continues for up to one hour after performances have ended.
Theater aan het Spui
In Theater aan het Spui we have adapted seats available in the auditorium. These are first row seats – we keep the seat next to them available for your fellow visitor. We can remove the chair if necessary, for example if you come with a wheelchair. Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 088 3565356.
Even if you already have tickets for the performance, it is important to inform us in advance if you are coming with a wheelchair. There are no reserved seats at Theater aan het Spui – but you will be welcomed by an employee on the evening itself and you can be the first to enter the auditorium. The adapted toilet is on the left side of the foyer.
