The auditions for one of the most unique projects of the upcoming edition of our festival will be held on 12 September. Top choreographer Fabien Prioville will be working with a group of ambitious amateur dancers to create a piece that can be admired in VR glasses during the Holland Dance Festival 2022.

With Fabien Prioville’s VR project, Holland Dance Festival is offering you the opportunity to work with an absolute top choreographer on an innovative project that will premiere at Holland Dance Festival 2022.
Graduated from the National Center for Contemporary Dance (CNDC) in Angers. He then worked with Édouard Lock at La La La Human Steps Company in Canada on the creation of the piece “Two”. In 1999 he joined the famous Tanztheater Wuppertal of Pina Bausch, and worked on the film “PINA 3D” by Wim Wenders, and on the shooting of Pedro Almodovar’s film “Talk to Her”.
From 2006 he works as an independent dancer and choreographer, in collaboration with Josef Nadj and Davis Freeman, Louise Lecavalier. Commissioned works brought him from the Julliard School in New York, to Japan and Australia, to Theater Regensburg (Germany), Tanztheater Bielefeld (Germany), Saitama Dance Association (Japan), Attakkalari Dance Festival Bangalore (India), Montreal (Canada). Fabien’s dance company is based in Düsseldorf, Germany. Since 2009, he has been collaborating with the Tanzhaus nrw in Düsseldorf on creations that merge performing arts and new multimedia technologies. The works have been performed on different continents and festivals such as, Tanzplatfform Nürnberg, Yokohama Katt Theater (Japan), Dance, Dance Asian (Japan), Festival Temps d’Images (France, Germany, Hungary…) Festival Quartier Danse Montreal (Canada), Festival Automne en Normandie (France), Attakkalari Dance Biennale (India), Juli Dans (Amsterdam). Recently created in collaboration with the agency Tetro + A a piece in virtual reality presented at the Lyon Dance Biennal 2018.
