DanceAble#2 | Opening program
DanceAble wants to stimulate awareness about inclusion dance and the empowerment of dancers with a constraint. This can be through representations, but also through knowledge sharing.
Holland Dance Festival stands for dance for everyone and believes in an inclusive society. With DanceAble #2 the organization wants to firmly establish inclusion dance, lower thresholds and remove prejudice.
The festive openingprogram of DanceAble ‘All Inclusive’ shows the result of an artist in residence trajectory: a special collaboration with the Liliane Fonds where six dancers from various countries work together. Furthermore three mixed double duets will be shown: Het Nationale Ballet and urban dancer Redouan Ait Chitt present a duet for a dancer with and a dancer without a disability, Skånes Dansteater from Sweden performs and Aristide Rontini dances his solo It Moves Me.
