Free To Move 2018
“Dance against muscle disease”
With great pleasure we present to you the sixth edition of Free To Move, a unique performance featuring the top of the Dutch dance scene and personally put together by Samuel Wuersten – artistic director of Holland Dance Festival. The top of the Dutch dance scene once again selflessly commits itself to the fight against muscle diseases. A spectacular performance that is all about moving and being moved. Dancing symbolizes the ultimate freedom of movement – a freedom that is not self-evident for people with a muscle disease. Therefore, the proceeds from this evening will go to research on muscle diseases.
Variety of dance companies
The exceptional variety of dance companies on one night is what makes Free To Move so special. You will see, among others, pieces by the Dutch National Ballet, The Dutch Don’t Dance Division, Codarts Rotterdam, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Introdans, Nederlands Dans Theater. We would like to welcome you on this evening in the Zuiderstrandtheater on the Dutch coast. A ticket for the full night, including coffee/tea before and a drink and a snack after the performance, costs €39,- per person. Enjoy a special evening out and at the same time support the fight against muscle diseases.
