“An extraordinary theatre experience - a powerful, nightly phantasmagoria”
In 2016 it will be exactly 500 years ago that the famous Dutch painter Hiëronymus Bosch died.
The fascination for his work has not diminished in those 500 years: his paintings show an abundance of bizarre creatures that populate heaven and earth and they still make us hallucinate about Bosch’s rich imagination and his ingenious ability to make the Medieval and Renaissance society so tangible. Choreographer Nanine Linning celebrates his body of work and commemorates his death with an overwhelming total concept of dance, video art, lavish costumes and life size sculptures.
A copresentation of Zuiderstrandtheater and Holland Dance Festival.
