Holland Dance Festival @ The Grand 2020
“Where haute cuisine and dance meet”
Due to overwhelming success in the previous three years, Holland Dance Festival and hotel Sofitel Legend will organize the fourth edition of Holland Dance Festival @ The Grand Amsterdam on Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of November. An exclusive event in the historic Raadzaal of the beautiful hotel, where haute cuisine and dance on a high level come together.
In the 1926 built Council Hall of the former city hall you will sit at tables for two people around the dancers, because of the corona regulations. Due to the necessary distance between them, we only have twenty tables available this year, which of course makes the event even more personal. Thanks to this intimate setting you will have the opportunity to see the person behind the dancer during each performance.

Codarts Dance Company and star chef Raoul Meuwese
The performances are provided by the Codarts Dance Company, which is formed by the international top talents of Codarts Rotterdam: the hotspot for contemporary dance in the Netherlands. The dance program not only shows the versatility of these young dancers, but is also a beautiful collage of choreographic styles and a good (renewed) introduction to the rich palette of contemporary dance, with works by international top choreographers and work created especially for the dancers.
In between the performances you will enjoy a four-course dinner, prepared for you by master chef Raoul Meuwese. Meuwese cooks according to classical French tradition, but with a modern twist. The star chef likes to be inspired by art and therefore believes firmly in the combination of his haute cuisine and the performances of the dancers of the Codarts Dance Company.
