Yoann Bourgeois | Celui qui tombe
“Yoann Bourgeois creates beautiful poetic performances that are impossible to forget.”
The star of the French acrobat, dancer, juggler and choreographer Yoann Bourgeois is rising worldwide. The acclaimed and blood-curdling ‘Celui qui tomb’ is dance as a modern circus. Six dancers defy the laws of gravity on a large moving plateau. They balance, hang on to, climb on to and move with each other, in pairs or alone.
Culture journalist Wieteke van Zeil writes weekly in the Volkskrant about visual art. Prior to this performance she gives a lecture on looking with the title ‘The Art of Attention’.
After all, if you look closely, you will see much more!
