In this eighteenth edition of the festival, we once again present two performances by Lonneke van Leth Dans, the dance company for young people in The Hague, which are geared towards young viewers. With an eclectic dance style and starting from indestructible stories, which are retold full of humor and in fluent and contemporary adaptations, the company knows how to familiarize the youth with contemporary dance in an accessible way. Amazement, emotions, and discovering and understanding together play an important role.
In the country of Pips and Blanco everything is white. White is what they know, white is safe, white is clean, white is home. Could there be something else besides white? Pips and Blanco go on a journey of discovery.
The five basic emotions of anger, sadness, pleasure, envy and fear are linked to colors and movements. In this interactive dance performance, especially for preschoolers, the children themselves are part of the performance.
