Source of Inspiration Gala 2018
“Dazzling celebration of dance”
Festive, scintillating and international: the Holland Dance Festival will also open this edition with a gala performance. A program filled with surprises as a prelude to the dazzling 16th festival edition.
At the Source of Inspiration Gala you can stimulate your senses with the best the festival has to offer. With among others a special guest performance by the Russian Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre with a choreography by Goyo Montero. Also the impressive inclusion duet Dare to Wreck will be performed by the Swedish Skånes Dansteater. The festive ceremony of awarding the Jiří Kylián Ring to someone who gives an inspiring and essential contribution to dance in the Netherlands will take place during the gala as well.
