Voor choreografen is het verrijkend om in gesprek te gaan met de grootmeester van de choreografie Hofesh Shechter. Het delen van die levens- en beroepservaring kan choreografen die de carrièreladder beklimmen helpen en inspireren. Wat zijn de eerste ervaringen, hoe is het carrièrepad verlopen, wat heeft bijgedragen aan het succes, op welke verzoeken is hij gestuit? Ben je ook benieuwd naar wat Hofesh te delen heeft en hoe het uw eigen pad als choreograaf kan versterken?

Op het jaarlijkse festival van RIDCC staat de choreografiewedstrijd voor duetten centraal. Zestien geselecteerde choreografen krijgen een podium en maken kans op de XL Production Award, de Publieksprijs en een van de Partner Awards.
RIDCC vindt dit jaar plaats van 23-25 juni 2022 in Rotterdam. Deelnemers kunnen hun duet van 1 december tot 12 maart aanmelden via www.ridcc.com

For choreographers it is enriching to start a conversation with the grand master of choreography Hofesh Shechter. Sharing that life and professional experience can help and inspire choreographers who are climbing the career ladder. What are the first experiences, how did the career path go, what contributed to the success, what requests did he encounter? Are you also eager to hear what Hofesh has to share and to see how it can strengthen your own path as a choreographer.

RIDCC is a springboard for choreographic talent. RIDCC unites the dance field, offers coaching, master classes, networking and above all concrete opportunities in the form of Awards. At the annual festival of RIDCC the choreography competition for duets is central. Sixteen selected choreographers get a stage and have a chance to win the XL Production Award, the Audience Award and one of the Partner Awards.
