Dance for everyone. That’s what the Holland Dance Festival stands for. It is for that reason that during this sixteenth edition we are organizing festival workshops for children in addition to the regular performance and workshop program for adults. Allow yourself to be surprised by dance. Enter one of the Parent & Child workshops and have a dance adventure with your child, or register your child for one of the other workshops that are based on one of the performances in the festival.
About the workshop
On Sunday February 11 Holland Dance Festival-teacher Janine Damen will give a workshop Robot dance. During this workshop Janine will work with the children using a mix of dance styles inspired by various robot movements. Dance along and show your best robot-moves! The theme of the workshop is based on the production Huang Yi & KUKA that can be seen during the Holland dance Festival on February 1 and 2 at Theater de Veste in Delft. During this performance the Taiwanese dancer Huang Yi dances together with his robot KUKA. The workshop is suitable for all boys and girls that love to dance. Experience in dance is not required.
