Through dance, we encourage students to engage both physically and creatively. We introduce children and young people to dance as an art form while stimulating their creativity, imagination and self-expression.
Our programme ranges from introductory activities to intensive projects and in-depth educational trajectories. At the heart of everything we do lies one central idea: dance should not only be watched and discussed, but above all experienced. By moving, exploring and creating themselves, students discover the power of dance.

One of the most memorable experiences for students is attending a dance performance in the theatre. Each year, Holland Dance Festival selects a number of productions from its festival programme that are particularly suitable for school visits. Classes can attend a performance and reflect on their experience, or opt for a more extensive programme in which students also step onto the dance floor themselves through workshops and other in-depth activities.
Depending on the programme, students are introduced to a wide variety of dance styles, choreographers and dance companies. Throughout the process, schools are supported by our experienced education team, who work closely with teachers to create a programme that best fits the needs of their students.
