10 April 2025

Last Saturday, 5 April, Filmhuis Den Haag hosted the festive premiere of Muses & A Bird Named Mansour. Around 5pm, the audience gathered for this special evening of art, dance and meaning. The room was filled with warm expectations - and they were amply fulfilled.
Muses offered a new and illuminating perspective on A Bird Named Mansour, and the interplay between the two works created a powerful, multi-layered experience. Dancers and audience alike were visibly impressed, inspired and moved.
There was listening, sharing and reflection - the audience asked sharp, curious questions and the makers took the time to respond openly. The conversation added depth and brought makers and audience closer together.
The evening ended in a festive way with convivial drinks and long talks about the performance. It was a wonderful evening - a fitting end to an unforgettable premiere.
