Secondary Education & Intermediate Vocational Education

For regular secondary schools, Holland Dance Festival annually selects a number of performances from its programme of performances (outside school hours) that it considers suitable for attendance by students in secondary education (VO) and intermediate vocational education (MBO).

This is a selection of our FIND (Fonds Internationale Dans) performances (a collaboration between Amare, Nederlands Dans Theater and Holland Dance Festival) and the performances during our biennial Holland Dance Festival.

You can choose to visit a dance performance with the class and reflect on it, but a broader trajectory can also be arranged, in consultation, in which the students themselves take to the dance floor. In addition to watching dance, students will also experience dance for themselves. Depending on the current programs, pupils may be introduced to various dance styles and companies from home or abroad.

Guidance by one of our educational staff is available during and prior to the performances.
