Compagnie Tiuri is looking for an experienced dancer (40+) for the production Please, Hold My Hand. The company, under the artistic direction of Jordy Dik, will be holding auditions in April to find the newest member.
Following the departure of one of its dancers, Compagnie Tiuri is looking for a dancer aged 40 or over to join Margriet Jacobs (33), Sabine van Riel (27) and Annemieke Mooij (28) in its latest production. Preference will be given to someone with a lot of experience in the dance and theatre world, who agrees with Jordy Dik's philosophy and wants to continue to shape the production together with the talented cast. This tour will take place in around 20 theatres throughout the Netherlands and premieres at the Holland Dance Festival in 2026.
Please, Hold My Hand is a choreographic ode to everyone who is sometimes a little scared. The piece will be performed by four powerful dancers who carry the audience from the very first moment into the simple but evocative scenography of a field of flowers. Characterised by a poetic and poignant approach to dance theatre, the work is designed to bring the inner world of the performers to life and thereby move the audience.
