Hooray! Good [old] Times celebrates its 10th anniversary

6 March 2025

It's a special milestone: the iconic dance class series Good [Old] Times is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Of course, that has to be celebrated!

For 10 years, the weekly classes have proved that you are never too old to dance. Good [old] Times is the place where over-55s can have a blast on the dance floor, whether you are a beginner or have mastered the steps perfectly for years. It's all about movement and a good dose of (dance) fun.

In the spring of 2015, the first dance classes for the ‘older’ dancers started in cooperation with Grey Vibes, a theatre workshop in Amsterdam and The Hague for everyone over 55. At that time, the classes were still divided between four different locations - Laaktheater, De Regentes (formerly: De Nieuwe Regentes), Theater Dakota and Diamant Theater, of which De Regentes and Dakota still serve as the regular meeting place of Good [old] Times.

We are very proud of the fact that at least eight dancers from the first hour are still attending the weekly dance classes - even after ten years. This shows that dance classes are not only a great way to keep fit, but also a great opportunity to meet new people and express your creativity.

To the next year of Good [old] Times!
