Registrations for the 7the edition of the Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition (RIDCC) are officially open! Choreographers from around the globe are invited to submit their duets. The pre-jury willl select 16 participants, whoe will get the opportunity to perform their work live at Theater Rotterdam in June 2025. Don't miss your chance to compete for one of the many excitying awards and register now!
RIDCC offers various great opportunities and possibilities for choreographers to enter the dance field in a professional manner, they aspire to be the best possible springboard for choreographic talent. During RIDCC, the participants will have the opportunity to share their work with the international dance field. In addition, RIDCC offers a variety of workshops, including a lightdesign workshop by Tom Visser, network meetings and a photoshoot. All the participants have to opportunity to win one of the international awards.
RIDCC is an initiative of Maya Roest and Mischa van Leeuwen, both experienced dancers at Scapino Ballet Rotterdam: “We want to use our expertise to create opportunities for talented makers and give the dance world a new impulse“.
