Liv Ullman and John Cleese attend rehearsals for Kylian retrospective Wings of Time

Excitement is rising in Oslo where Norwegian National Ballet's preparations are in full swing for Wings of Time, a major retrospective of the work of internationally renowned choreographer Jiří Kylián.The project, which will be shown exclusively in Oslo as The Hague, is attracting a lot of attention - including from big names in the international art and film world.
What makes this retrospective so special is the attention it is attracting from international luminaries. None other than Liv Ullmann, legendary film actress and muse of director Ingmar Bergman, was recently spotted at a rehearsal. British comedian and actor John Cleese, of Monty Python fame, has also arrived in the Norwegian capital to attend rehearsals for the special diptych.
Wings of Time is more than a tribute - it is a journey through Kylián's decades-long career, in which he has continued to push the boundaries of modern dance. After the Norwegian premiere, the show will travel to The Hague, the city that has been Jiří Kylián's artistic home at the Nederlands Dans Theater for decades.
