A introduction of Rotterdam to Birmingham Royal Ballet

The iconic Erasmus Bridge provides beautiful backdrop for the guitarist and dancers of Birmingham Royal Ballet. With Black Sabbath - The Ballet, the dance company is making Rotterdam the heavy metal capital of the Netherlands!

Last Monday the more than 30 dancers of Birmingham Royal Ballet arrived, yesterday there were rehearsals and today a short introduction at the Rotterdam Erasmus Bridge.

For the first time in the history of Holland Dance Festival there will be a real heavy metal ballet experience. The Dutch premiere takes place today, Wednesday, June 12, and after that the performance can be seen exclusively until June 15 in the new Luxor Theater, Rotterdam. Black Sabbath - The Ballet is a theatrically spectacular dance and music performance, where the sparks will fly.
