Opening of the cultural season with Spotlight Festival Den Haag

On September 6 and 7 is Spotlight Festival The Hague! The opening of the cultural season 2024-2025, where The Hague cultural organizations, artists, venues and festivals present themselves and give sneak previews of what will be on show next season. In the 'hotspot' Amare on September 7, Holland Dance Festival will be happy to tell you all about the new dance season and you can watch Miguel Altunaga's new VR dance creation.

On Saturday, September 7, Holland Dance Festival will be at Spotlight Festival The Hague (13.00 -17.00, free) in Amare. During this Hague cultural opening, what used to be known as the The Hague UIT-festival, we are happy to tell you all about the new dance season. We will also present the Miguel Altunaga's virtual dance creation. For the nineteenth edition of Holland Dance festival, the Cuban choreographer, together with a group of young (amateur) dancers, created a special choreography around their audience in Amare's foyer. Put on the VR glasses and enter a virtual world in which you as a spectator are immersed in the performance. It feels like you are in the middle of the dance performance, surrounded by the energy and emotions of the dancers. The dancers have never been so close!
