Spotlight Festival Den Haag 2025: A dazzling start to the cultural season

On Friday 5 and Saturday 6 September 2025, The Hague will transform into one big stage during the Spotlight Festival.
Across the city, more than eighty cultural organizations will showcase what the upcoming season has to offer. From surprising performances in local neighborhoods and the vibrant Talentenplein at Spuiplein to the joyful energy of Spotlight Kids and the sparkling Culture Night – creativity and the passion of artists and performers will be felt everywhere.

The festival offers a unique opportunity to discover The Hague’s rich and diverse cultural scene. During the day, there’s plenty on offer for young talent and families, while in the evening, the city’s major venues open their doors with short performances and previews of the coming season. And best of all: entry is completely free.
