“From club vibes to moving duets – HubClub’26 shows just how beautiful dance can be when everyone takes part.”
After the sparkling success of HubClub’23, Introdans returns with a new edition of this inclusive dance project: HubClub’26.
This time aswell, the power of difference takes center stage: everyone is welcome, exactly as they are. The result is an accessible, theatrical performance full of energy, humor, and emotion, in which Introdans professionals dance side by side with performers from the most diverse backgrounds.
In co-production with Holland Dance Festival, pioneers Adriaan Luteijn and Irene van Zeeland once again join forces. Together, they guide a new generation of leading choreographers who reimagine their existing creations for an inclusive cast of dancers – with and without physical or intellectual disabilities.
What happens to a duet when one of the dancers is in a wheelchair? How does group dynamics shift when performers bring different bodies, experiences, and styles to the stage? HubClub’26 offers a powerful and moving answer: differences are not hidden but instead fuel the motor of creativity.
Adriaan Luteijn: “Performances with inclusive casting are valuable because they challenge the very idea of perfection in body or mind.”
Irene van Zeeland: “Inclusion is not a genre, it is an attitude. It calls for curiosity, courage, and openness – exactly the qualities that dance is all about.”
HubClub’26 is more than a performance: it is a meeting place, a laboratory, and a celebration. Accessible to young and old alike, festive yet deeply moving. A performance that shows how dance opens doors and breaks down walls – inviting everyone to be surprised by the power of difference.
The premiere takes place on February 6 during Holland Dance Festival in The Hague, after which the performance will tour across the Netherlands.
