“From club vibes to touching duets – HubClub’26 reveals the true power of dance.”

Introdans’ HubClub is a vibrant celebration of unexpected dance talents – a show where people shine because of their uniqueness.

Following the sparkling success of HubClub’23, Introdans returns with a new edition of this inclusive dance performance that celebrates the dance power of diverse bodies and minds: HubClub’26.

In co-production with Holland Dance Festival, pioneers Adriaan Luteijn (Introdans) and Irene van Zeeland (HDF) once again join forces. Renowned contemporary (inter)national choreographers Fernando Melo, Inbal Pinto, Conny Janssen and Jordy Dik (Compagnie Tiuri) are paired with a surprising cast of classically and modern trained Introdans dancers and top performers from other physical, social, and artistic worlds. Each choreographer is challenged to reimagine one of their existing works and give it a compelling new life with this irresistible and diverse cast.

Going beyond convention, and under the artistic direction of Adriaan Luteijn (concept and artistic supervision) and Irene van Zeeland, the creators explore how their work transforms when dancers from unexpected worlds and with different physical realities join in. At the heart of HubClub lies the power of individuality: everyone is celebrated, just as they are. The result is an accessible, theatrical show full of energy, humour, and emotion.

Adriaan Luteijn: “Productions with inclusive casting are valuable because they challenge the very idea of bodily or mental perfection.”

Irene van Zeeland: “Inclusion is not a genre – it’s an attitude. It requires curiosity, courage and openness – exactly the qualities that dance embodies.”

In March 2025, Adriaan Luteijn received the Cultuurfonds Gelderland Cultural Award for his longstanding inclusive work. “As a creator, Adriaan brings together worlds and people. He bridges apparent opposites and gives physicality a new dimension. Dance, in his hands, becomes the story of connection,” said the jury.

HubClub’26 is more than a performance: it’s an encounter, a laboratory, and a celebration. Accessible for all ages, festive and moving at the same time. A performance that shows how dance can open doors and break down walls. The premiere will take place on 6 February 2026 during the Holland Dance Festival in The Hague, after which the production will tour the Netherlands until 21 April 2026.

Reviews

The Dance Power of Introdans
For over 50 years, Introdans has been inspiring as many people as possible to discover the art of dance – with heart, soul, and exceptional craftsmanship. The company stands for leading dance heritage, contemporary classics for young audiences, interactive projects, and new creations by emerging makers. As a touring repertoire company, Introdans has made its mark not only regionally, but also on the (inter)national stage. With an energetic and dynamic dance language, they engage a wide and diverse audience.

Introdans believes in the power of dance – dance as empowerment. Dance opens worlds and connects people with their imagination and with one another. Since its founding in 1971, the company has embraced this belief as a social mission. It is part of their DNA, as is the conviction that everyone deserves to be seen and valued exactly as they are. Over the past 25 years, as a driving force and developer of interaction and inclusion, Introdans has sparked a movement that has become an essential part of the dance landscape.
