The upcoming generation of dance talent, brimming with explosiveness and an unprecedented level of energy, takes center stage in the performance Talent On The Move, presented by the Holland Dance Festival and Codarts Rotterdam, the international hub for contemporary dance. The Holland Dance Festival proudly introduces Dutch audiences to the stars of the future!
Approximately thirty dancers, hailing from various corners of the globe, showcase a unique program. Their youthful flexibility translates into exquisite solos, duets, and group pieces, drawn from existing repertoire by renowned international choreographers and from new works by emerging choreographic talents. Much of this new work has been specially crafted for Codarts dancers and this touring production.
Holland Dance Festival and Codarts Rotterdam are delighted to provide a national platform for these young, exceptional talents. Through Talent On The Move, the dancers have the opportunity to garner extensive and essential stage experience, a journey they undertake with passion and dedication. It's an infectious, heartwarming performance where the dancers’ energy seems boundless.
In the theaters, a rotating program will be presented featuring works by Ed Wubbe, HURyCAN, Johan Inger, Manuel Kiros Paolini, Niek Wagenaar, Rutkay Özpinar, Stephen Shropshire, Thomas van der Linden, Tú Hoàng, and Wayne McGregor.
