Boy Blue is one of the UK’s leading hip hop dance theatre companies, founded by choreographer Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy and composer Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante.

Our high-energy school workshops combine hip hop technique, musicality and creative exploration to boost confidence, teamwork and artistic expression. BEGINNERS WORKSHOP
Monday 16 February: 11:30–13:00 hours
Perfect for students who are new to dance or new to hip hop.
In this upbeat, supportive session, students learn the fundamentals of hip hop - groove, rhythm, coordination and musicality - through playful exercises and accessible choreography. They explore movement, build confidence and experience the joy of dance in a welcoming, pressure-free environment.
ADVANCED WORKSHOP
Monday 16 February: 14:00–15:30 hours
Created for students with prior dance or hip hop experience who want to deepen their skills.
This fast-paced, challenging workshop focuses on technique, musical precision and performance quality. Expect more complex combinations, creative tasks that sharpen individuality and expression, and the signature Boy Blue approach that encourages dancers to push their artistic boundaries.
