Holland Dance Festival and Balletstudio Yolanda join forces to organise the first ever Dansontmoeting workshop. Dancers with and without experience, dancers with and without disabilities (physical or mental), everyone is welcome! During this first inclusive edition, there will be dancing together in the style of modern dance and other fun creative activities, such as arts and crafts, where having fun is of course paramount.
Led by the experienced professional (inclusive) dance teachers and the trusted workshop team from Balletstudio Yolanda, there will be lots of dancing together. Everyone can participate according to their own abilities. There will also be time to get to know each other better over a drink or snack during the break. For those who like it, there will be costumes and theatre make-up.
You will get to know each other, do creative tasks and end the afternoon with a small presentation of your work for all the parents.

This modern dance workshop is all about meeting, moving and having fun. Whether you are an experienced dancer or have never taken a dance class before, everyone aged 8 to 12 - with or without a disability (physical or mental) - is welcome. Experience is a bonus, but what really counts is your desire to dance and meet new people. Together we create a space where everyone can participate in their own way, within their own abilities.

Balletstudio Yolanda
From the first moment Holland Dance Festival committed to the vision ‘Dance for all’, Yolanda has been involved as a collaborator and expert. Yolanda is an experienced dance teacher and expert on inclusive dance. At her own dance school Balletstudio Yolanda regularly organises dance workshops and has been working as inclusively as possible for many years. The experience she has gained as a teacher in both her dance school and at Holland Dance Festival is the unifying force for this workshop. She has extensive experience in (special) education, amateur dance classes and projects for dancers with and without disabilities, and is also involved as a coach and developer of teacher training for 'unrestricted dance'.
