The world's best at Circusstad festival!

From 30 April to 4 May, Rotterdam will be transformed into a vibrant stage full of acrobatics, theatre and wonder during Circusstad Festival. With breathtaking shows, interactive performances and creative workshops, there is something for everyone - young and old!
More than a hundred circus artists are currently travelling to Rotterdam. They come from countries like Morocco, Spain, France and New Zealand. They will perform on and around the Schouwburgplein from Wednesday 30 April until the weekend during the annual Circusstad Festival, the largest circus festival in the Netherlands.
In addition to the Schouwburgplein, Circusstad Festival will take place from 30 April to 4 May at Theatre Rotterdam, the old Luxor Theatre, the Maritime Museum, Tall Tales Studio in Delfshaven and Codarts Circus Arts in Katendrecht. You can go straight to the fenceless Schouwburgplein for a terrace, free performances and workshops. You can buy tickets for exclusive performances in the tents on the square or in the nearby theatres and elsewhere in the city.
