“An Untitled Love beautifully presents dance as interpersonal communication. It's a theatrical love letter to social dance.”
— The New York Times
After his Dutch debut in 2016, internationally acclaimed choreographer Kyle Abraham returns to the Holland Dance Festival – this time with his highly praised production An Untitled Love.
A Celebration with Depth
Set to the music of Grammy winner and R&B legend D’Angelo, An Untitled Love pulses with life – a vibrant mix of dance, poetry, and everyday movement. The result is a dazzling ode to Black Culture, family, and community – a performance that feels like both a tender love letter and a soulful mixtape.
Dance as a Life Story
In An Untitled Love, Abraham weaves personal stories together with broader social themes. His choreography flows effortlessly between contemporary dance, hip-hop, and jazz – from subtle, almost imperceptible gestures to explosive sequences that fill the stage with energy and emotion. The dancers of A.I.M by Kyle Abraham – hailed by The New York Times as “one of the most consistently excellent troupes working today” – transform D’Angelo’s soulful sound into a breathtaking visual experience.
